Sensitive Personal Information

We only collect sensitive personal information, as defined in the applicable U.S. state privacy laws, for the purposes allowed by law or with your consent. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

Oceanpoint Ranch has no knowledge of collecting, selling, or sharing the personal information of any consumers under 16 years of age.

Oceanpoint Ranch does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law.

Your Rights

Based on your state of residence, you may have the following rights:

  6. The right not to receive discriminatory treatment by the business for the exercise of privacy rights conferred by the CCPA, including an employee’s, applicant’s, or independent contractor’s right not to be retaliated against for the exercise of their CCPA rights.

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES

We offer our customers the opportunity to receive promotions such as lowest rates guarantees, access to special offers, and hotel events when you sign-up for Pacifica Perks or other brand loyalty programs. By signing up, you also consent to receive communications from us via email. When you sign up for one of these Offers, we typically ask you to provide your name and email address. Because we collect personal information when we provide the Offers, this may be interpreted as a “Financial Incentive” under California law. The value of the personal information that we collect is reasonably related to the expenses related to offering you the Offers. You may withdraw from participating at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of the emails or by filling out the contact us form on our website. 

“SHINE THE LIGHT” LAW

We acknowledge that California’s “Shine the Light” law permits California residents to annually request and obtain information free of charge about what Personal Data is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. We do not, without your consent, distribute your Personal Information that we collect to outside parties for their direct marketing, or any other purpose, except as provided for in this Policy.
